Our BS 10125 Accreditation

Modern cars are built to a high specification using a wide range of exotic, high performance materials.

Therefore, when they get accident damaged it is critical that there are clear standards which high quality autobody repairers need to adhere to, to ensure their safe repair back to the original manufacturer specifications.

BS 10125 was developed for this purpose. It is monitored and maintained by the British Standards Institute (BSI), a not for profit organisation which is completely independent and impartial.

BS 10125 Accreditation focuses on the four key elements of repair:

Method

All repairs to be carried out using the manufacturers documented repair instructions

People

All technicians to be qualified to the recognised industry standards i.e Automotive Technician Accreditation (ATA) Scheme.

Equipment and technology

All equipment used to be designed and calibrated for manufacturer standard repairs.

Parts and materials

All repairs to be carried out using OEM replacement parts or ones of equivalent quality.
